Case study 1Working capital · RefinanceD2C food · Karnataka

Effective financial solutions for a D2C brand: lower interest rate, higher working capital

Client. A direct-to-consumer (D2C) food brand based in Karnataka, sourcing high-quality milch animals from Punjab.

Challenge

The client's account had been incorrectly classified as “Restructured” by its lender, a private sector bank. This resulted in extremely high interest rates, and no other bank was willing to offer financing.

Our approach

After thorough research of the relevant RBI guidelines, our team identified the error and submitted a detailed letter to the bank requesting that the account be reclassified as “Standard”. Within one week the bank rectified the mistake and restored the account's status. We then helped the client refinance its loan with another bank at a significantly lower interest rate.

Outcome

The client's working capital limits increased by over 25% and its interest rate fell by nearly 33%. The result was substantial savings and greater financial flexibility to scale the business.

How a bridge loan helped an exporter overcome cash flow issues

Client. A North India-based rice exporter with annual turnover of over ₹500 crore and a global footprint across Europe and America.

Challenge

A major delay in payments from a key customer was disrupting the client's cash flow.

Our approach

In just 5 days, the team at Incremento Business Advisors arranged a bridge loan facility, helping the client meet creditor payments and keep its operations running smoothly.

Outcome

A few months later the overdue payments were received and the client's cash flow cycle was back on track. Sometimes it is not about the big picture, but about fixing the short-term gaps that keep the wheels turning.

Case study 3Working capital · Debt restructuringCopper products manufacturing

Doubling working capital limits to retire high-cost unsecured loans

Client. A leading manufacturer of copper products used in cooling units and other equipment.

Challenge

A high cost of borrowing, arising from multiple unsecured loans, was holding back growth.

Our approach

Our team helped the client obtain a fresh sanction of working capital facilities at twice its existing limits, while maintaining the same collateral security. The enhanced facilities were used to repay the high-interest unsecured loans.

Outcome

Profit margins increased significantly as finance costs fell by more than 33%. With the EMI-based loans repaid, fixed monthly cash outflows stopped, giving the business greater financial flexibility.
